THE SITUATION
InterContinental Hotels
was hosting a single event fundraiser to benefit UNICEF and wanted to grow the event to multiple cities with national exposure. For Momentum was brought on board to expand the program.

THE STRATEGIES
For Momentum negotiated a contract with ELLE magazine as a national media partner. Media assets included 3 pages in the magazine as well as event execution support and live auction prizes.

Media assets were leveraged to bring on additional sponsors including Delta, Coca-Cola and MAC cosmetics. National level sponsorships also included exposure elements and live auction items resulting in additional awareness and funds.

A reader contest was introduced - with the contest winner participating in a UNICEF mission trip and writing an article about the experience for ELLE.

THE RESULTS
Over $5MM was raised for UNICEF in less 3 years.
Over 12 million impressions were generated - Designs of Hope and UNICEF.
